At FREDERIKSGADE 1 design brands, emerging talent, organizations, entrepreneurs, architects, photographers and other creatives work side by side, floor by floor. FREDERIKSGADE 1 is outlook and visibility \u2013 to past and present – with a dedication to reinterpreting and developing the Danish design tradition in an international context.<\/p>\n
Every floor has an individual atmosphere and character dictated by regular creators and exhibitors residing there. Common to them all is their distinct roles on the Danish and international design scene, carrying with them a cultural history in constant and dynamic flux.<\/p>\n

Having our showroom here, in a beautiful building in the historic Copenhagen quarter Frederiksstaden, makes for an extraordinary scenery for our furniture. Aside from that, it also means being a neighbour to many other creative souls who all work with design in one form or another, inspiring us daily. The fact that we are present at an address in Copenhagen with a truly international mindset is both unique and valuable to us.\u201d<\/p>\n

This setting daily inspires not only our team, but also our clients and guests who come to us to realize their own design dreams, big and small. The house also encourages creative interplay between its exhibitors. Its central location in a historical setting close to the Marble Church makes it easy for guests to visit us.
